| The end of the month saw some unusually high tides which broke over then quay in St Peter Port as this picture shows. |

| On the last day of the month I went with Derek Bridel to see if we could find some owls at Chouet in the north of the island. We did see, and photograph two but I need a bit more practice taking moving birds. I took this before Derek arrived. |
