Other November 2015 images

I am a bit behind posting these, but although the main opportunity for photography was in Italy earlier in the month, there are a few to post.

Late afternoon, looking north over Bordeaux harbour.
I do little bird photography on the basis the longest lens I can muster is a 200mm with a two times converter. However, I had a couple of outings with Derek Bridel looking for owls at L"Ancresse and we were lucky to see some on both occasions.

Rome, days 5 & 6, 13th and 14th November 2015

Our last full day was spent looking around some new areas and places of interest.

The vine outside the hotel entrance still looked a burst of colour.

I think this illustrates a rather scruffy Rome metro system

A rather chaotic picture restorer/framer.

Looking across the Tiber to the Vatican

Road surfacing roman style. Most of this huge roundabout was cobbled and it
is nice to see repairs are in cobbles too.

Everything comes to an end and the inevitable ride back to the airport.
Why is is that all airport train services make no allowance for passengers
having luggage? On this double-deck train you have no option but to go up or
down a flight of stairs to get a seat & no luggage racks or space under seats.
